The Nigeria Tourism Development Authority (NTDA) recently hosted the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Committee on a high-level courtesy visit, signaling a promising convergence of legal expertise and tourism promotion in Nigeria’s evolving economic landscape. 
Led by its Chairman, Kemi Wey-Afesojaye, the delegation engaged in substantive discussions with NTDA leadership, centered on collaborative opportunities for the upcoming NBA-SBL 20th Annual International Business Law Conference in Abuja. A flagship element of the conference is the “Capital City Experience” (CCE), an immersive, curated tourism showcase that promises to introduce delegates to Abuja’s distinctive blend of natural wonders, cultural richness, and contemporary attractions—offering a vivid taste of Nigeria’s capital as a dynamic destination. 
Beyond the immediate event, both parties delved into broader strategies to bolster the tourism sector. Dr. Olayiwola Awakan, Director General of the NTDA, reaffirmed the Authority’s steadfast commitment to this partnership. He expressed full readiness to support the NBA-SBL initiative and collaborate on forward-looking programs that will help position Nigeria as a premier, compelling tourism destination on the global stage.
