In a strategic move to deepen public-private synergy in Nigeria’s cultural and tourism sectors, renowned philanthropist, travel influencer, and Tourism Ambassador Queen Bethia Idoko paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Idris Aregbe, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, at his Alausa office on Wednesday, 1st July 2026. 
The engagement served as a platform to formalize closer collaboration aimed at projecting Nigeria’s creative and tourism economy through culture, youth empowerment, and robust global advocacy. Queen Bethia, celebrated for her extensive travels and influence in promoting destinations, used the occasion to present her prestigious Ambassadorial Plaque from the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) alongside her citation as one of the Top 100 Tourism Personalities in Nigeria. 
Mr. Aregbe, a key architect of Lagos State’s initiatives to transform culture into economic value and position the state as Africa’s cultural capital, welcomed the ambassador’s expertise and commitment. The meeting underscores Lagos’ proactive approach under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration to harness influential voices in driving inclusive growth, youth engagement, and international visibility for Nigeria’s rich heritage and creative industries.
